Trigonella foenum-graecum

Fenugreek can be found mainly in India, North Africa, China and Australia. In the Plantcube the young seedlings are harvested just past the microgreen phase. These are very suitable as spicy components for salads or can be eaten as sprouted greens. The seeds, on the other hand, which are not suitable for consumption from the Plantcube, are used for cooking as well as in naturopathy. Due to their spicy aroma, they are usually used in curry powders and are also well suited as a bread or cheese spice.
